The Amazfit_BIP_5_A2215 is a low budget smartwatch with an Ultra-large Display (1.9’’) and long battery life. The device is based on ZeppOS 2.0 and supports Alexa Voice Assistant. The Display is a 1.91” TFT screen with a resolution of 320 x 380 pixels (around 260 PPI). The Display Panel and touchscreen Module are separated in this subsystem. The manufacturer advertised that the cover glass is made of 2.5D tempered glass with anti-fingerprint coating.

The Battery Capacity is equal to 300 mAhand according to Amazfit: is up to five days under intense use, up to ten days under the standard use and up to 26 days in battery saver mode. The Amazfit_BIP_5_A2215 achieves IP68 protection in accordance with IEC 60529, for a water resistance of up to 1.5 meters. Realtek’s RTL8763 is responsible for audio processing and Bluetooth connections.

The device also supports GPS connectivity due to a GPS/GLONASS receiver provided by Sony. GPS/GNSS Receiver Sony CXD5605 was also seen in other smart watches such as the Polar Pacer Pro B5 and Huami Amazfit BipU. The device does not support cellular connections. The AmazfitBip5 provides health tracking functionalities such as blood oxygen saturation, heart rate, and stress levels with the Heart Rate/Sp02 Sensor. The Smartwatch is also equipped with a 3-axis MEMS accelerometer provided by STMicroelectronics.
