The Amazon Alexa Echo Hub G6A87E is an Alexa controlled device with a display/touchscreen, four microphones, and two speakers. The speakers are located at the top of the device. The Amazon Alexa Echo Hub G6A87E has 2 GB LPDDR4 SDRAM, 8 GB MLC NAND Flash Memory and the 64-Bit Hexa-Core application processor from MediaTek.

The device is equipped with an 8-inch display/touchscreen which was produced by BOE. The device doesn’t have a built-in battery, which means that the device must be constantly connected to a power source by USB-C connector. Subsystems cost is lower than average device. There is no battery or cameras in Amazon Alexa Echo Hub. Texas Instruments supplied the audio power amplifier and connectivity IC’s.

Two separate antennas support the WiFi 5 and BT, where the additional antenna is used Matter/Thread/Zigbee connectivity. Like in most previously analyzed Amazon devices, an RF tag antenna and RF tag IC were discovered during the analysis. IR Sensor is located at the top of the device next to ambient light sensor.
