TechInsights’ Semiconductor Manufacturing Economics (SME) has wafer production costs for hundreds of specific processes at fabs around the world. Our team conducted analysis of wafer costs over time for a selection of companies using SME data. Data was for both Discrete/Power semiconductors and ICs. Although SME includes frontend and backend costs, this analysis focused on the frontend costs up until sawing/dicing into individual dies.
