This report presents a Full Analog Circuit Analysis of the NXP PN547 NFC controller. The NXP PN547 NFC controller chip, extracted from the North American version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, is the successor to NXP's widely deployed previous generation NFC chip, the PN544. The device is touted as having double the radio frequency (RF) range of any other NFC radio controller, with a 50% smaller footprint and 50% lower power consumption than the market benchmark, the PN544 device. This Full Analog Circuit Analysis report represents the main functional blocks of the NFC controller, mainly, the demodulator, the transmitter, the different interfaces (such as SWP), and the power management.
