Released on November 10, 2020, the Mac Mini A2348 is the first significant update to the Mac Mini lineup since October 2018. It runs Apple’s custom M1 chip, the first personal computer chip manufactured in a 5 nm process. The M1 is based on four high-performance Firestorm cores and four energy-efficient Icestorm cores that provide a similar architecture to the ARM DynamIQ. The maximum CPU clock speed is up to 3.2 GHz.
