This report presents a Digital Floorplan Analysis of the BG6CDZ1F die found inside the Synaptics AS-370 system-on-chip (SoC) processor extracted from a 2nd generation Google Nest Mini (model GA01140-CA). The Synaptics AS-370, used in the Google Nest Mini, enables single-chip integration of voice, audio, video, computer vision, machine learning, and security for consumer IoT products in the new frontier of Edge AI. AI at the edge incorporates a hive-type architecture with smaller computing devices collaborating on data-informed decision making. For this next IoT frontier, it means faster, cheaper, more scalable and secure computing.
