This report is an analysis of the die layout and functional blocks of the Samsung SDP1107 Echo-T DTV LCD timing controller. Functionally, this device consists of: LVDS high-speed input/output interfaces, PLLs, and timing controller processor. This report contains the following detailed information: package photographs, package X-ray images, die markings, top metal die photograph, and polysilicon die photograph, identification of major functional blocks on a polysilicon die photograph, table of functional blocks sizes and percentage of die utilization, high resolution top metal and poly die photos delivered in ICWorks Surveyor, measurement of vertical and horizontal dimensions of the major microstructural features, and SEM cross-sectional micrographs of dielectric materials, metallization, and transistors.
