This report presents a Basic Functional Analysis of the Aptina AP0100 megapixel high dynamic range (HDR) automotive image processor. The AP0100 is a dedicated automotive image co-processor that enables a variety of camera platforms using high performance Aptina megapixel HDR sensors. The AP0100 supports 185 degree fisheye lens distortion correction, perspective correction, and multiple view options such as split side view, triptych, and trailer hitch. This processor works with Aptina's AR0132AT HDR automotive sensor.
