Forecast: Global Fitness Band Sales Forecast for 88 Countries: 2012 to 2029

We expect global fitness band sales to decrease by 9.0% to 13.2 million units in 2025 and further by 4.5% to 12.6 million units in 2026. Following this period of substantial decline is relative stabilization from 2027 (1.6% decline) through 2029 (0.8% decline) globally. With all regions having non-positive growth for the entire forecast period from 2024 to 2029, we hardly see any growth opportunities for fitness bands anywhere. We have downgraded the forecast from the previous iteration across all regions due to weak actual sales performance in the first three quarters of 2024. The price tier mix, however, is trending towards the higher end, and therefore North America and Western Europe are declining more slowly than the other regions. Our report forecasts global fitness band sales by 88 countries from 2012 to 2029. This report lends itself to determining the future size and growth rate of the industry.
