The Quectel FGH100M module was launched on March 15, 2023, and integrates the IEEE 802.11ah wireless network protocol, known as WiFi HaLow. This advanced protocol operates in the license-exempt Sub-1 GHz frequency band, exclusively utilizing the 850-950 MHz operating frequency range with channel widths from 1 MHz to 8 MHz. The FGH100M comes in a compact Land Grid Array (LGA) package measuring 13.0 x 13.0 mm, ensuring easy integration into a variety of IoT devices. It has a one pin for connecting a WiFi antenna, allowing for simple antenna connection.

This module utilizes the WiFi HaLow standard to provide excellent long-distance transmission capabilities, enabling the connection and control of IoT devices within a radius of up to 1 km. The FGH100M is optimized for low power consumption, making it suitable for battery powered IoT devices that require longer operating life. With its obstacle penetration performance, the FGH100M ensures reliable connectivity in demanding environments.
