Google Pixel 8 Tensor G3 SoC Digital Floorplan Analysis

The Google Tensor G3 is a package-on-package (PoP) assembly comprises a Micron LPDDR5 memory and the ZCF SoC. The Tensor G3 PoP was extracted from the Google Pixel 8 Pro smartphone. This third generation of the Tensor series chip features nine CPU cores: a single powerhouse Arm Cortex-X3 CPU core, four Cortex-A715 cores and four little Cortex-A510 cores. The G3 includes an Arm Mali-G715 GPU and third-gen machine learning cores. The standard cell libraries and bit cells on-die are similar to those found in previous 4nm devices from Samsung foundry.
