The OmniVision OX08D10 CMOS image sensor (CIS) is an 8 MP, 1/1.73” stacked back-illuminated (BI) CIS with a pixel pitch of 2.1 µm. It is the first OmniVision automotive image sensor that incorporates TheiaCel technology with lateral overflow integrated capacitor (LOFIC) and dual conversation gain (DCG); these two technologies combined leverages a wider dynamic range in a single-exposure and eliminate LED flicker artifacts under various lighting conditions, yielding better image quality for front view cameras.
