Sony IMX900 Device Essentials Plus
Discover in-depth analysis of Sony's IMX900 3.2 MP global shutter CMOS image sensor featuring Pregius S™ technology, stacked BI design, and in-pixel MIM capacitor storage.
The Sony IMX900 CMOS image sensor (CIS) is a 3.2 MP, 1/3.1” format, stacked back-illuminated (BI) voltage domain global shutter (VDGS) CIS with a pixel pitch of 2.25 μm. The IMX900 is the first Sony's VDGS analyzed by TechnInsights. This DEP document provides an extended insight into the structure of Sony's IMX900 CIS and image signal processor (ISP). Particularly, the Sony IMX900-AMR analyzed in this report uses Sony's global shutter technology, Pregius S(TM), with monochrome and in-pixel metal-insulator-metal (MIM) capacitor storage in the ISP die.
