Global smartwatch revenues fell by 4% YoY during Q1 2024. The decline was driven by slumping shipment volumes and declining ASPs due to macroeconomic weakness and geopolitical uncertainty limiting consumer demand and discretionary spending and causing a lengthening replacement cycle. Apple's Watch OS still leads the pack, while Wear OS remains in second position due to the Samsung Galaxy Watch line as well as the Google Pixel Watch line. Huawei's Harmony OS remains in third position in Q1. Apple's watchOS, Google's Wear OS, Huawei's HarmonyOS, Garmin's Connect IQ, Fitbit's Fitbit OS, and others continue to battle it out for the top OS spot.
