All Big Core Dimensity 9400 is Bigger with Cortex-X925

MediaTek’s latest flagship smartphone SoC, Dimensity 9400, features a new Arm Cortex-X925 prime core maintaining the 1 + 3 + 4 CPU architecture configuration. The architecture is rounded out with three Cortex-X4 and four Cortex-A720 performance cores. It is fabricated on TSMC’s second-generation 3nm process, packing in 29.1 billion transistors. Overall, MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 made some great strides in improvement across the board compared to its predecessor, yet it lacks in some key CPU metrics compared to its rivals. It offers the best graphics performance against competitive devices, and MediaTek has improved its AI performance relative to the previous generation.
