AMD's Versal RF is the ninth addition to the Versal SoC family, bringing high-resolution RF-sampling data converters that support a wideband frequency spectrum topping out at 18 GHz and sample rates as high as 32 Giga samples per second (GSPS). The Versal RF targets direct RF applications in aerospace and defense, test and measurement, and satellite communications. All Versal SoCs combine a large FPGA fabric with a processor subsystem that includes multiple Arm CPUs, memory controllers, transceivers, and basic I/O. The Versal RF's FPGA fabric consists of up to 2.5M system logic cells (SLCs), 2.3M configurable logic block (CLB) flip-flops, 1.1M look-up tables (LUTs), and 189 Mb support RAM.
