The Snapdragon Wear Elite platform will transform wearables with new capabilities drawing on AI, rich sensor inputs, and multiple connectivity options. New devices could include smartwatches with cameras for AI visual awareness, monitors that make real-time health and fitness recommendations, and personal AI assistant pendants that act on voice commands and provide secure access to homes and vehicles. Built with advanced 3nm CMOS, the SoC at the heart of the platform extends battery life by 30% between charges compared to previous wearable SoCs and supports fast charging to 50% in under 10 minutes. And, Qualcomm’s Wear Elite platform is an all-in-one solution that helps OEMs reduce time to market without having to qualify and purchase essential components from multiple sources, and it will likely appear in many compelling new wearables starting this year.
