Hassan Ali Bosan

Hassan Ali Bosan is Technical Product Manager for Photonics at TechInsights, where he leads coverage of photonics and optical interconnects. He has more than 10 years of experience in laser and photonics technology, from academic research to product and business strategy. Before joining TechInsights, he was a product manager for laser systems at Corning Incorporated. There, he set the business strategy for the laser market and developed product roadmaps informed by market intelligence. Earlier at Corning, he worked as a laser process development engineer. He also led laser and post-processing development at SCHOTT. As a laser scientist at Forschungszentrum Jülich, he researched laser crystallization of silicon on glass. Hassan holds a PhD from RWTH Aachen University, an MSc in Laser and Photonics from Ruhr University Bochum, and a BSc in Engineering Sciences, with a specialization in semiconductors and superconducting devices, from the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology.
