The TPD4165K is a high-voltage intelligent power device (IPD) based on Toshiba’s high voltage silicon on insulator (HV SOI) process, designed for compact brushless DC (BLDC) motor applications. It integrates a three-phase inverter bridge with built-in gate drivers and protection features, operating power supply within a 50 V to 450 V range and delivering up to 3 A of continuous current. Utilizing lateral insulated gate bipolar transistors (LIGBTs) for efficient power switching, it includes overcurrent protection, thermal shutdown, and undervoltage lockout for enhanced reliability.
